Just Checking

I'm an old chick trying to learn this new technology of blogging only because I'm the reporter for my Japan Let's Start Talking team. I thought it would be easier to report in to everyone (including LST) this way. Thanks for the idea, Tanya. Ha!

My partner is Phyllis. Phyllis is a wonderful Christian woman. We've become great friends. I look forward to our service journey together.

As Tanya stated on her blog, Phyllis and I will be in Tomobe, Japan from June 13-July7. Please pray for us. Pray that our flights are restful and easy. Pray that we will have many readers eager to not only practice their English, but are open to see and understand the stories of Jesus within the readings. Pray that we are good ambassadors for God and Woodland West. Pray that when the readers understand the stories of Jesus, they feel his love through our actions. And please pray for our families as three weeks is a long time to be away from loved ones. I know Tyler, not as long as your team's six weeks! Ha!

Phyllis and I will post updates weekly concerning our readers and God's work in Tomobe.

If you're able to get onto this site and read my blog, please place a comment so I can determine if I've indeed set my blog up correctly.

In Christian Love,

Tommie

You know I love you too, Rachel. You'll have to teach your old mother-in-law how to add bloggers to my list. I'm so clueless of knowing how to set up everything correctly!
